Keely's Soccer Picture

Keely girl has grown so much over the past year....she has had a blast playing soccer with all of her friends!!

The "Great" Family Picture (ha ha)

So, everybody has one of these I am sure.....As you can see Tyler and I were the only ones happy to have our picture taken that day! Marlee always has that "deer in the headlight look" & Eric had just taken Maggie's pacifier out of her mouth. Well then there is Keely and she didn't want to be there at all. And Eric was so taken back by all of the camotion that he kinda looks a little scared. Anyway, this was taken after baby dedication at our church.....we had a great day and we will always have this hilarious picture to remember it!

Paris is free at lasts......

Well just like everyone else in America I am so relieved that Paris Hilton is finally done serving her sentence. HAHA
I am a "Larry King Live" junky, so tomorrow night I will defiantly be tuning in to see what all she has to say. I am sure that the war in Iraq will be one of the first topics.

Anyway, on to more important things.........The rain has been unbelievable today. Both of the kids had makeup games this evening and in turn Keely, the girls and I got stuck in town during the down pours. YUCK!!! I hate driving in any kind of bad weather...I am a wienie!

Eric is in Woodward, OK this week so it has been just me and the kiddos around here. Thank goodness my mom has been on vacation......We have all enjoyed spending time with her.

Keely is almost done with Summer School---yeah!! I am tired of getting up so early. :-(

Well, I guess that is all for now. I hope you all have a great week!!

Tagged

So, Thanks.....Sis for tagging me....................

First memory: I can remember hiding in my Grandma Baker's cupboard where she kept all of her can foods & playing peek-a-boo with her. (which the girls were hiding in the cabinet the other day and reminded me of those days!)

First real kiss: Gary Lambright....at the YMCA day camp. It was my last time to see this guy before we moved to Amarillo and so being a whole 12 years old we had to kiss....we were on the playground equipment. Just a peck ;-)

First concert: George Strait in Plainview, TX....we even got to go in his tour bus!

First love: Michael Ray...I absolutely adored him and sad to say he turned out later to be gay....ha ha! I bet none of you have a first love story like that????

First thing you think in the morning: Is it really time to get up??? Who is still sleeping??? Is there coffee made yet??? My mind tends to ramble.

First book you remember loving: The Boxcar Children

First pet: a cat named DC....from pictures and what my parents say this cat let me tote him around everywhere by his tail.

First question you'll ask in Heaven: So, you really are going to make skinny forever right?? No seriously, where is the chocolate??

First thing you think of when you hear the word 'vacation': When do we leave???

First best friend: Keri(my sister)....I always liked playing with Keri more than anyone else. She let me be the boss, which fits me perfectly!

Last time you dressed up: Uh....I can't remember; it would probably have to be on our cruise.

Last thing you ate: wafer sugar cookies

Last CD you bought: Tim McGraw CD for Tyler

Last (good) book you read: Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud & Dr. John Townsend

Last time you cried: this morning....I cry all of the time!

Last time you told someone you loved them: 10 minutes ago when I hung up with Eric.

Last really funny thing you did: I stuffed a whole cupcake in my mouth last night at Keely's end of soccer party.....It was a proud moment for Keely.

Last thing you watched on TV: Age of Love

Last Halloween costume: Hunters

Last concert attended: Third Day about a year ago. Toby Mac opened for them.

So, VBS is over and I was so blessed by the whole experience!! The kids were so awesome!! Keely has asked Jesus into her heart and wants Eric to baptize her! We are all so excited that she has made this decision. I have given all of my reservations of whether or not she truly understands all of this to God....He knows her heart. Praise God for all of the kids that were saved this last week. We also raised over $2,000 for Missions in our "penny offering". God is so GOOD!!

On to Tyler:

He is playing in his last softball games this week and is very sad that the season is almost over. His team is really good and he has enjoyed every game; normally by this time he is ready for the season to be over. Tyler and Bop have have been spending most of the days together doing all kinds of "work" around here. He would rather stay with Bop any day than to go with us girls. ;-)

Then of course Keely:

Keely's last game is this week too. She by far is not the star player in soccer, but loves getting to play with all of her friends. This week we are finishing up Keely's neuropsych evaluation, which should be interesting to see what Dr. Schneider has to say about his findings. I have been even more concerned about her lately, as far as the tremors and behavior. It seems to be getting worse. Please keep her in your prayers.

And not to be forgotten the Girls:

They are two peas in a pod literally....they have their own little language and say some of the funniest things to each other. Both of them are walking and in to everything. They have completely opposite personalities. Marlee is very outgoing and Maggie is STILL very clingy to me. But I have to say I do love her sweet little kisses that she is so stingy with to others and I love Marlee's infectious laugh.

That is all that is new with us, so I hope you all have a blessed week.

VBS day 3 & loving it!!!

So, today we did sidewalk chalk..........YEAH!!! We had so much fun! I had all of the kids trace me as I laid on the sidewalk. They had a ball making Miss Renay "little miss skinny". haha~;-) We have done some many fun things this week and now getting to see these precious kids get so excited to see me and to see what we have planned for them is just more than words could describe.

We also worked on "Garage Sale" stuff.......Yuck, no one ever wants to go thru and get there stuff ready for everyone to pick thru. But on the other hand I can't wait to see if I can make some money...even if it is only $20.00.

It's late so I'd better get my bootie in bed!!

VBS

I have to tell you all how wonderful VBS was last night. All of the kids blessed me so much with there love for Jesus. This one little girl in particular is absolutely adorable(not that they all weren't, but you know what I mean)....her name is Kylee and she has the neatest imagination. I saw her doing something with her hand and when asked about it she said...I am feeding my horse an apple. I was in aw of this little girl. And then of course were all of my friends kids & little Miss Gracie(my sister's little girl) that I just love gettting the opportunity to spend time with. God is so good...he truly knows exactly what each of us are needing from this every year. Our church looks GREAT. All of the decorations just add so much to the experience for the kiddos.

So, I taught Marlee and Maggie something new.........how to sign "more please" and believe it or not Marlee gets the gold star for paying attention. YEAH!!! She showed off her new trick for Nana this morning. Maggie knows how to do it, but is more stubborn in that she will only do it if she wants to and Marlee is the show off.

I hope you all have a blessed day! ~;-)

My cutie pie husband........

Ready, Set, Go.....

So, I decided that I would start blogging.....I love reading everyones and now think that it is time that I start doing it too. So....hello BLOG BUDDIES!!!

I recently read Ross' blog and absolutely couldn't stop laughing when I saw that he says that("hello blog buddies") all of the time.

Keely is off to summer school & Tyler is outside playing and of course the girls are down for the much awaited nap.

Today starts VBS and I am so excited to get the opportunity to work with all of the little kids....it is a lot of work, but truly a huge blessing for me every year.

Hope you all have a Happy Day!!
