God is so GOOD!!!

I am so pumped tonight! We are starting a new bible study at church and I am heading it up this time...totally out of my comfort zone, but know that this is something that I have been wanting to do for some time and now is my opportunity. Anyway, I called around to several(30 to be exact) different churches today to see if we could borrow their Leader's Kit and Praise God that Paramount Baptist is allowing us to use any of their studies we want. The wonderful lady that helped me said that they also had Lisa Welch's study about raising kiddos and if you know me but at all then clearly I need all the help I can get. I can't wait to see what else God has in store for me.

WHEW....it has been a kinda crazy few weeks. Seriously, we all have crazy lives though. Today was kinda a relif because I actually slept all night last night. The girlies have started climbing out of their beds, so clearly sleeping has been a huge issue at the Giles' house.

Eric thought that he would be home soon, but as he left it tonight I think it will be another couple of weeks before he is done with this bridge. I am grateful that it isn't as long as he had anticipated.
Tyler passed his Reading TAKS test!!! YEAH!!! Isn't it sad that is the way we are conditioned to judge whether our kids have done good in school??? Remember when we just got letter grades like A,B,C,D,F,S or U....I got lots of S's & U's. For some reason the teachers always thought I talked too much. Go figure! Anyway, I am proud of the boy.

Keely didn't do as well, but I am still just as proud of her and all of her hard work.

The Newest Addition to the Giles' Household....

So, we have some exciting news....some dear friends of ours blessed us with our newest addition....they have known that we really would love having one of our own for a long time......drum roll please............the anticipation is killing you...huh???
We are now the proud owners of a beautiful horse named Ginger Ale or as we like to call her "Ginger". She is absolutely the most wonderful horse ever!!! We are completely in love with her. I will take pictures tomorrow so you all can see her. She is so very gentle. Keely girl rode her most of the afternoon while Ty, Eric & Boppy did some work on the fence. We have all been out to check on her this evening and truly probably would have felt much better if we could have just let her come and bunk in the house with us tonight. (Ya know being in a strange place and all.~;-)))Anyway I can't wait for you all to come out and ride her....we look forward to many years of fun with her.

~Happy Birthday tooooo ME!~

It sounds ridiculous to some I'm sure, but one thing that I have been wanting to happen for a few years now happened today. I had been praying that God would touch Eric's heart and encourage him to go on the Walk to Emmaus. And today we found out that he will be attending this special retreat in a little over a week. Eric had been wanting to go ever since he saw my Dad and Mom come back from this wonderful experience. God is so good and knows the exact timing for everything. So, this was the best present that I could ever get!!

My sweet husband...He is such a wonderful man who deserves only the best in life!

Praise God for all of the wonderful things He continues to bless me with daily!
